Gai-jin - (Noun) Foreigner / Outsider

It's been 79 years since the protagonist Rai arrived at Kuno, the Land of the Samurai. This story takes place 15 years ago in the North of Kuno. As this epic trilogy now focuses on the antagonist Jiro the 2nd son. Jiro, the first foreigner to be in Kuno, lost his voice due to exposure to the light; In exchange for losing his voice, he gained the power of immortality, and now he's on a quest to get his voice back. Walking alone in the middle of nowhere while the trickling snow blows by amongst the equinox flower fields, this is the beginning of his journey of how he became Daimyo of the North.
